Terms of Service

Draft for review. These were written to cover how Revvaro actually works, but they are not legal advice and have not been reviewed by a lawyer. Have a solicitor check them before you start taking payments — particularly the liability and refund sections, and anything affected by the states you operate in.

1. What Revvaro is

Revvaro analyzes vehicle listings and produces an estimated cost-of-ownership report, including a Revvaro Score from 0 to 100, projected depreciation, projected maintenance costs, known model issues and estimated running costs. You supply a listing screenshot, a VIN, or details you type in yourself.

Revvaro is a software tool. We are not a dealer, broker, lender, insurer, inspector or appraiser. We do not sell vehicles, arrange finance, or inspect anything.

2. Estimates, not appraisals

This is the most important section, so please read it.

Revvaro's outputs are estimates generated by software, combining artificial intelligence with public data sources including the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Environmental Protection Agency. They are:

Figures attributed to a government source are reproduced as published and may lag reality. Everything else is a projection and may be wrong.

You should always obtain an independent pre-purchase inspection and a vehicle history report before buying. Revvaro supplements those steps; it does not replace them.

3. Accounts

You need an account to generate reports. You must give accurate information, keep your password secure, and are responsible for everything done under your account. One person or business per account; do not share logins. You must be at least 18.

4. Credits, billing and refunds

Credits

Reports are paid for with credits. One report consumes one credit. Credits are consumed when a report is generated, whether or not you find the result useful.

Subscriptions

Subscription plans grant a monthly credit allowance that renews on your billing date. Unused credits do not roll over unless we say otherwise. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period and we do not pro-rate part-months.

Refunds

Because reports are delivered immediately and cost us money to produce, credits already spent are non-refundable. If a report fails to generate, or is obviously broken, contact us at revvaro86@gmail.com and we will restore the credit or refund it. We would rather sort out a genuine problem than argue about it.

Price changes

We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. Existing subscription periods are unaffected.

5. Acceptable use

You may not: resell or redistribute reports as your own product; scrape, bulk-download or reverse-engineer the service; use automated means to create accounts or generate reports beyond your plan; upload anything unlawful or infringing; or attempt to interfere with the service or other users. Sharing an individual report with a buyer, seller or mechanic in the ordinary course of a transaction is fine and expected.

6. Your content and ours

You keep ownership of anything you upload. You grant us a license to process it in order to produce your report and to improve the service, including in aggregated and anonymised form. Reports themselves, along with the Revvaro name, Score and software, remain ours. You may use your reports freely for your own purposes, including sharing them in a vehicle transaction.

7. Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not warrant that reports will be accurate, complete or suitable for any particular decision.

We are not liable for any loss arising from a vehicle purchase, sale or valuation decision you make. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified by email or in the app, and continuing to use Revvaro means you accept them. You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will refund any unused subscription period unless the breach was serious.
