• BACK OVER PREVENTION:DISPLAY FUNCTION

  Lamborghini (Automobili Lamborghini) is recalling certain 2018-2021 Huracan vehicles. In temperatures below 41°F, the rearview camera may not display due to a software error in the infotainment system. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."

• EXTERIOR LIGHTING:HEADLIGHTS

  Lamborghini (Automobili Lamborghini) is recalling certain 2015-2020 Huracan vehicles. The caps that cover the low-beam headlight horizontal adjustment screws are missing, which can allow the headlights to be improperly adjusted. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

• ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

  Lamborghini (Automobili Lamborghini) is recalling certain 2015-2024 Huracan vehicles. The headlights may be incorrectly adjusted. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Common issues and what they cost

• Magnetorheological damper (MagneRide) seepage or failure $2,500 - $6,000

  Adaptive dampers can develop fluid seepage or internal valve failure from heat cycles and age, leading to a harsher ride, clunks over bumps, or uneven damping side-to-side. Often shows up as minor leaks before performance noticeably degrades.

• Front suspension bushings/ball joints wear and alignment drift $1,200 - $3,500

  Low-profile tires, aggressive alignment, and frequent curb/road impacts accelerate wear in control-arm bushings and ball joints. Symptoms include steering shimmy, tire feathering, and wandering at speed. Correcting early prevents rapid tire wear and secondary component stress.

• Carbon-ceramic brake noise, vibration, or rotor edge chipping $800 - $3,000

  CCB systems can squeal or judder when pads glaze, rotors get light surface damage, or debris embeds in the pad. Track use and heat cycling worsen it. Sometimes resolved with pad replacement/bedding; rotor damage can require expensive component replacement.

• Battery/charging sensitivity causing warning lights and no-start $400 - $1,200

  These cars are sensitive to low voltage; infrequent driving or a weak battery can trigger multiple fault messages, slow cranking, or immobilizer/infotainment glitches. A quality AGM battery and proper tender use usually stabilizes the system and prevents nuisance faults.

• Cooling system seepage (hoses, clamps, radiator end tanks) $600 - $2,500

  Heat cycling and tight packaging can lead to small coolant leaks at hose connections or radiator end tanks. Early signs include coolant smell, low level warnings, or residue near fittings. Addressing promptly prevents overheating and reduces risk of collateral damage.
